To Scan your Computer you need to Download some form of Antivirus Program, there are plenty to choose from Online. Be careful where you choose to download from because you don’t want to make your situation worse.
New Viruses are found on a weekly, if not daily basis, there are a lot of mean people in the world! And so you need to make sure your Antivirus Software is as up to date as possible, this is not as difficult as it sounds. Many of the Virus Scanners include an automatic Update procedure, to take any of the effort out of Updating.
If you use a paid Antivirus Program then you will have far more access to support if you experience problems. Many Viruses are less difficult to remove than Spyware however that is likely to change.
Once you’ve got rid of all your Viruses make sure you install a good quality Firewall to prevent Hackers accessing your Computer.
